Being period powerful doesn’t stop just because it’s Christmas. Join us this month for our #PeriodPowerful December!

Here at TOTM, we have had a very exciting Period Powerful 2018. A highlight being the moment we launched onto the shelves of Tesco (we still can’t believe it).  Back in January, we launched the hashtag to shake things up and take a stand on how we think about, talk about and care about periods. This year we have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people working hard to drive change. There’s more of this to come in 2019…

But for now, let’s talk December

Nothing changes just because it’s Christmas. For many December is just another month of struggle. We want to continually support women and girls across the UK. This is why we are thrilled to support Endometriosis UK and Red Box Project – two charities working in different ways to improve lives.

This December we’re be talking all about period poverty and with this we are launching our #periodpowerful advent calendar.

What is the #PeriodPowerful Advent Calendar?

Throughout December (up until 24th December) we will be donating period care to Red Box Project, but this involves YOU!

To help us build a mix of products in our donation bundle we’ll be selecting one order at random every day from the 1st to the 24th December. We will then match whatever products are included in this selected order and donate these products to Red Box Project. If your order is selected, we will let you know with a handwritten thank you note!

TOTM is proud to support Red Box Project Tower Hamlets and Red Box Project South Wales. The donations will mount up throughout December then we will split the donation total between these two locations. All donations will be delivered start of January, ready for when the schools are back.

To track the progress of our donations be sure to follow us on socials – we’ll be documenting on our Instagram story.

A report revealed that 137,000 girls are missing school because they cannot access period care products in the UK. Red Box Project are doing amazing work to ensure no girl misses school because of her period. Find out more about RBP and meet Beth who runs the Tower Hamlets initiative here.

What else can you expect this Period Powerful December?

Alongside our give back advent calendar we will be sharing more period powerful profiles, tips for ethical/eco swaps for the festive season and don’t miss our post celebrating skin positivity.

One more thing!

We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone from our community of amazing followers and supporters for helping us to achieve big steps in 2018. We’re still a small brand with a big dream and appreciate every single one of you who have supported us and helped us to spread the period powerful message. Let’s take on 2019 and make this a year of even bigger change!
